Review Of Miller Woods From Bill Cawley (August 1, 2017, 12:02 am) Beautiful walk, hike any time of the year. Park at the Paul Douglas Center, for more parking, though there is a small lot directly at the Woods on Lake Street, Miller Ind. Trail is easy to moderate with a few sand hills to cross but even mid-summer, not enough to get you winded. Beautiful scenery everywhere, from lush trees to a vast array of seasonal wildflowers. Lots of birds, not unusual to see a variety of Herons and Ducks.Trail winds through dunes to a lagoon and eventually to Lake Street on the shores of Lake Michigan. Need some quiet, alone time? Some family together time?
