I made a wooden standee of Johan using one of my art. I'm really happy with how it turned out!

It’s always a bit scary putting things out there, but I’m proud of this one 🙈

Ongoing or completed?

For completed, I just finished reading Urasawa’s Pluto (the author of Monster). Pluto is definitely not my genre–I’m generally not into robots or worlds with futuristic/dystopian feels–but Pluto was incredibly well written, and I absolutely loved the themes. I was crying by the time I finished it, as it was a truly beautiful ending. You can really see that Urasawa is truly at the top of the storytelling game and gets humanity. The message–that negative emotions are necessary for humans as much as positive ones (okay that’s a bit simplified)–was comforting too, in an odd sense. Deadman Wonderland is almost certainly next.

As for ongoing:

The Promised Neverland (reading weekly but less invested)

Boku No Hero Academia (reading weekly, highly invested in this current arc)

Noragami (reading monthly, highly invested)

Bungou Stray Dogs (just read it and I will be reading monthly; probably my favorite ongoing manga besides HxH but HxH is you know a ghost town right now)

Hunter x Hunter (it’s on hiatus but I’m including it because)

MHA: Vigilantes (reading monthly, but am a few chapters behind; plan to catch up soon)

Black Butler (reading monthly but I am a few chapters behind. Mostly I find this arc’s latest chapters rather slow and am waiting for it to pick up again to binge-read).

Attack on Titan (reading monthly, highly invested)

Golden Kamuy (reading monthly but also need to catch up as I’m a few chapters behind)
