Universal Remote Accessibility Billย
The purpose and intent of this title is to ensure that all people in and involved with the United States of America are able to fully participate in the key aspects of American life without excess emissions to the fullest extent possible no matter their location, parental status, ability to drive, disability, health status, immunocompromised status, injury status, age, energy levels, and logistic issues travelling between other obligations.ย
Eligibility and Exceptions
The people covered by this bill are everyone who is living in the United States or any of its territories, everyone who is working for an entity based in the United States or any of its territories, everyone who is studying at a school, college, university, trade school, or any other educational entity based in the United States or any of its territories, everyone who is covered by a healthcare provider, including a publicly-funded healthcare provider/healthcare provider network, based in the United States or any of its territories, everyone who pays taxes and other public-duty payments and/or is eligible to perform other civic duties, including but not limited to voting and jury duty to a governmental entity based in the United States, and everyone who would be accessing any sort of library, community center, or any other type of cultural venue.ย
What definitions are needed?ย
Everyone living in the United States or any of its territories, military bases, and other possessions, as well as everyone working, studying, getting healthcare with, performing civic responsibilities and duties with, and otherwise accessing for any other purpose at or with any entity based in the United States or any of its territories, military bases, and other possessions shall have the full right to remote access to everything to the fullest extent possible, at any time, for any length of time, and on any amount of notice, without any sort of extra fees, costs, or penalties.
State funding, aid, and loans issued starting two weeks after the bill goes into effect as federalย law shall be prioritized into making any and all entities who receive them fully and easily remote-accessible to everyone unless they are specifically earmarked for another reason.ย
This bill goes into effect as federal law two weeks after it is signed by the President of the United States.ย
