Light, Line of Sight and Story
#UpliftDocoTraces - behind the scenes

It is around 12:30pm. Andrew and Rohit try to find an interview spot that use some natural lighting without burning the subject.
As they set up the proper seating, they look at the background. They find it a bit darken in the shade. “Let’s bring it up a tiny bit”Â
Extra light? not much help; reflector?
Finally everything is set: sound, light and camera.Â
“New interview seating!” Andrew says.
Andrew notices that the subject always look more directly to the translator, Ravi. Hence, Andrew decides to switch their seating position, allowing the interviewee’s line of sight to be more natural.
And the interview begins.
