Dear Ladies. Please try to read all of this. It's worth it. A letter from the good guys.
We love you for who you are. There is absolutely no NEED to try to impress us. Yeah, first impressions ARE important, but only because we are such weak creatures that we need to judge you to feel secure about ourselves. A bad first impression can be redeemed through subsequent interactions anyways. A real man will not judge. A real man will give a girl time to express herself.
Society is a dumb thing. It doesn't care about your well-being, only about taking your money. Don't conform to their bullshit ideals. You'll go bankrupt and bulimic. Real guys will accept you on the basis of your personality, not your appearance. We want you to express yourselves as you are. But you gotta help us out. How are we supposed to make a move on you if you're giving us false personalities to deal with? We want to interact with you on so many more levels than just the physical one derived from appearance. What's going to happen when you grow old? Appearance will eventually be a non-factor. That's why relationships built on this feature are destined for failure.
If guys are passing you by and not paying you any heed, it is not because you are doing anything wrong. Guys are usually so self-absorbed that they aren't worth your time anyways. There is something to be said about those guys who smile at you and compliment you on the most inconsequential things. Regard these people highly. They are rare. Unfortunately, (and I can speak from experience), even THESE guys will not be thoughtful enough at any given moment to remember to smile, or give you a compliment, or perform a nice gesture. So remember also to smile at THEM. The door does indeed swing both ways. A relationship takes two, not one...unless you're asexual...which is pretty fucking rare lol.
Above all, be true to who YOU are. Nobody wants to deal with a fake bitch. They do NOT deserve attention or endearment. So express yourself truly and genuinely, it's a fucking turn on to run into a chick who isn't into all the same bullshit on TV or in magazines.
If you can feel comfortable being yourself around a member of the opposite sex, you love them. Let them know you appreciate them before it's too late. There isn't enough love in this world.
"Love is a risk we can't risk not taking."
