POCKET 7s

Work was busy per usual today. It’s always busy and I always feel like I am just trying to keep up. It didn’t help that storm-pacalypse occurred today as well.

I dropped SF off at her class at GGU today. Surprisingly, even though there was a stormy weather and flash flood, it wasn’t too hard to get her down there. Then i headed to the event of the day...date with dude from bumble. I had originally named him Japan guy because he told me about his travels to Japan. But then after hanging out with BL today, we decide to name him Pocket 7s. He seems promising but we need to see how he progresses, after “the flop.”

We met at Upcider. The place of choice. The place that LT always has her dates at. Shout out to her for advice! He showed up late. But he kept texting me to provide updates. He was funny and cheesy at the same time. We learned things about each other. How he lost his dad last year and has been in similar boat as me. It was nice to connect with someone. He did ask me for a ride and then I called him out on it. Then he felt bad and then retracted the request. But I felt nice and offered it to him anyways. Spoke about it with JK today on the phone. She thinks that was a dick move. That he shouldn't have to ask for that in the first place. Which now sorta irks me. AND he also stalked me on linkedin. But he said he was used to that since he used to be a recruiter.
