Oh, Mittens. Always a trustworthy advocate for chaos, I see. I wonder if those would serve as decent bumper stickers on his car, however…just food for thought.

You know it. I brought him into class once and now people won’t stop asking me about how he’s doing. Mr. Mittens on his leash? Barely restrained chaotic evil, even if he’s a very good boy who doesn’t mind walkies unlike a lot of my sister’s cats. Mutini, I think, finds it undignified. Can’t tame a partyhard cat, y’know.

Oh, Madame Mutini on my end is indeed quite the rapscallion. Never one for walks. She turns up her nose at the mere thought. It’s wretched, but beauty makes the behaviour acceptable…and of course, she knows she is a looker. And I’m glad you’ve deemed it a good idea. Please, let me know how the endeavour goes if indulged.

I certainly got lucky with Mr. Mittens on that end of things. Then again, I adopted him when I fell down and busted open my face thanks to pavement shredding braces because I was so busy looking at the alleyway cat behind me that I didn’t account for the curb bump near the 7-11, so perhaps he’s just taking pity on my incompetence when he allows himself to be leashed to wander around. I think he thinks he’s the boss most of the time. 

He’s not wrong, considering the amount of cat toys that have slowly taken over the house. And the shelving in my room that he treats as his personal race track at three in the morning.  

Why stop only at that?

I also inhabit this shared living space and if I broke the coffee machine all hell would break loose between him, a sleep deprived creative who deals with the professional side of industry, and I, an engineering major.
