       a single text from his father would start it all   --  the downfall.  dean knew had to go, but it was different this time around:  he met someone that he’d have to leave behind.  he didn’t want to abandon her like he usually did.  she was special.  in the few weeks he’d known her dean came to the conclusion that HE LOVED HER, and he couldn’t lose her so easily.  there was only one way to preserve their relationship and watch it flourish.  she must know the truth.  he was staring down at his cell phone for a while, as if to write a response to his father’s text message, but he put it away.  he had to prioritize.  turning to cassie, dean swallowed roughly upon his decision.  it was now or never.          ‘   i need to talk to you.  ’

     “I’m sorry, you’ll have to repeat that dear; the grass growing over there was far more interesting.” ---

               “this place is the creepiest one yet.”   nose wrinkles as she looks up at the huge house, head tipping slightly as she licks her lips. after a moment, clarke allows her attention to shift back to sarah, lips pressed together tightly.   “remind me why i keep coming to these things with you. they always freak me out.”

After the fire was out he wiped his face and took a swig of water. Looking around he noticed a cop on the scene. After Bobby was done filling her in on what happened (seemed like arson), Buck decided to approach her. Pulling his helmet off, he gave her a grin as he introduced himself. “Hey, I’m Buck. I’m guessing Bobby filled you in on the fire?” 

THE WORLD COME TO A GRINDING HALT , dean suddenly aware of that he’d dropped a bomb between them . shit  . he hadn’t really ever said anything about this being a date . in his mind -- it really hadn’t been . not until they’d both been bent over a cop car , harassed a little bit and bonded over their own stupidity . somewhere along the trip the line had been blurred  &  he’d been stupid for not realizing she didn’t feel the same way .    “i - uh -- no , i didn’t say date . i said um , great . sure made this great!”   nervous laughter seems unnatural on dean’s normally confident features , beating himself up over a slip of tongue .

                                              “i love you too.”

     Unfortunately for her attempts at a redemption arc, a well-behaved Rowena, invariably resulted in boredom. And boredom meant she was underfoot and in trouble. Hence why she’d been banished from Kansas to Sioux Falls, and the distrustful care of the women there, currently Donna Hanscum. --- “I want to help; I’m not going to see my own kind, and suddenly betray you. If anything I’m entirely supportive of eradicating yet more of those horrible old biddies...but not overly supportive that I’m just going to murder them all.”

she’s something else -- truly . always in good spirits .  the winchesters hunting life style aside , they’ve made a good place in town . his father settling down in a small town in the middle of nowhere to raise sam && dean had been a blessing in disguise . one that dean had been thrilled about . even if john only did it because the authorities threatened to take kids & lock him up if he didn’t .  he just doesn’t understand donna’s desire to be his friend . he’s not exactly top notch at anything academic or otherwise . he’s just a dumb jock as they say .    ❝   why do you keep looking at me -- got something on my face ?   ❞
