“This?… I suppose I'll cast it into the flames and see what happens.”
Last year I came up with an AU version of the Wizard from Stardew Valley! I wanted to do a write-up explaining his design, how he changed from his og concept (and differences from the game) bc that sort of thing just generally interests me haha! There was something typed up, but I've shelved it for now since I'm not as attached to the fandom as I was earlier this year. Who knows! Maybe I'll revisit it again oneday lol. I will leave some lil facts about this versions of him tho!
This version of the Wizard is a fae who wears a human disguise! I had designed both his human and non-human forms (this is his human disguise).
He's a bit vain and does use glamor to make himself look smoother/prettier. If he wasn't using so much magic he'd look like a well-dressed man in his 50s who wears eye-liner.
Wardrobe is very 1970s with a preference for alt influences.
Had married the Farmer in his story, however she has passed on at this point in time. Nothing tragic! They lived a happy life together.
Holy smokes! I just realized I never posted my finished illustration of Nao (from Skip & Loafer) for Beyond Your Binary! The zine itself is free, though they do ask for those who download it to send proceeds to Gaza if they are able. See my notes/comments on the project under the cut!
This was the first zine I have taken part in in a very very long time- and I'd like to think I did both the prompt and Nao justice! Below are some of the studies, concepts, n notes I made for the project!
Some notes I took about her design! She's so cute haha!!
I also ended up doing some research on current fashion trends in Japan + some popular cafes as well! The cafe I drew her in is based off of Blue Bottle Coffee in Maebashi! It looks very stylish- perfect for Nao haha!
Thats all I got for now! If you have a dollar or two to spare, I'd very much appreciate if you could donate to the Okra Project, a nonprofit that supports Black Trans folk across the United States! There is also the vetted list of fundraisers I posted earlier as well! If you are able to give, please do! It is very much appreciated.

During AF I fell head first into a new love of Deltarune lol! I ended up finding a LOT Of really cool fan-characters and AU versions of deltarune canon characters on AF- sadly I didn't get to drawing many of them but I was able to draw @dra-ghost 's Sorbet (AU version of Seam)!!
This was actually my first colored pencil heavy artwork in like..15 years? The base was done in watercolor (I believe on toned paper or possibly a paper bag) and I layered pencil over it to get some of those brighter hues! There were some small edits done on CSP, but not as many as you'd think!
Thats all I got!! I'll leave ya with a close up of the scanned painting before any edits. Thanks for reading!
First four gift-arts drawn for a server I've been in since October of last year! Finally trying to get all of the art I've been doing for it together and posting it in one easy to find spot haha!

Attack Masterlist & Artist Lore -- ID Card 2025
Another attack for Art Fight! This one is made up of Alternate Universe Gasters or designs inspired by Gaster! From left to right their designers are; PixOrbix, @apriifooled, MakIg, @peachy-doodles, & @stickylizardcave !
More about the process n stuff below the cut!
Why Gaster?
Valid question. Short version is that I got into Deltarune finally, which led me to remembering the tumblr sexyman Gaster (aka how the fandom had it down bad in one way or another for this weird easter egg of an anomaly). Art Fight allows AU versions of canon characters, and after flipping through pages of Frisks, Kris's Tennas and the-many-faces-of-Spamton I wondered if there was any Gasters...and there are! Less than some might think, bit there def are.
[ Above is the final version of the attack! ]
Anyway, I think its cool when people make AU versions of characters! I bookmarked the ones that stood out to me the most and went from there. Not all of them were drawn this time around (lord there isn't time) but next year..it'll be a Gaster sweep!! (Maybe.)
The Process
Sorta sped-run through these. Knew I wanted to make it a gif (final version, see below). At first the different Gasters were going to be speaking to another character, or to the viewer, but I wasn't sure if that would be out of character for some of them (how they speak, if they speak ect) so I opted to use a quote associated with Gaster. I had picked 13 characters (pun not intended), only realizing afterwards that the lack of color or detail on some of them made it hard to show the differences in design when set next to more detailed or colorful designs. Thats primarily why I chose mixed media- and focused on their faces + some sort of setting/vibe in the image- allowing me to anchor each design (in theory) in different universes, which would (hopefully) automatically give the view the impression they're looking at different versions of the same character.
Photo of artwork before it was scanned and had digital elements added! Colors are more vibrant in person.
If I had more time to work on this I think I could have done waaay more than I did! The plan was to do some in traditional mediums with some digital elements, and the rest on my computer in different styles. The fully digital ones got the boot- I just don't have time- and I focused the rest of my free time (this was all done in like 6 hours on Sunday) to clean up the art and shove it together. And I mean! It worked I think! Lotta shoulda coulda woulda- but for the time I spent on this (and came up with the concept, allowed paint to dry ect) I think this looks pretty cool
Wrap-Up & Materials
Drawing Gaster is like, really fun. Who knows, maybe you'll see some more art of him from me- or at least of some of the various Gasters out there. Who can say!! Not me! I'm too sleepy lol.
More AF posts to come next month!!

First attack of 2025! Characters featured in this one belong to (from top left to bottom right); FUCKMARYKILL, @kaizuart, @skcolb, Centipede_silly & goobiyubi ! More info about the process below the cut! <3
The Process
Most of the time when I do trad art I'll do a rough sketch in marker or pen, sometimes pencil/colored pencil. This time around I went a little old school (for me anyway) and tried my best to be intentional with my lines! It can be tricky to plan out with pen- esp when you won't be using white out! Some of them I added in black way too early- that would bite me in the ass later haha!
Working like this can be a little tricky (for me anyway) because I feel like I need to work backwards. In my minds eye I can see the final layer of inks or lines that will help pull everything together, but I need to build those layers underneath the lines before I can actually line it. Once I got into the groove of things it came easier, but some of the illustrations were a little trial and error.
At some point I went "fuck it get the gouache" and broke out my himi palette! I purchased this last year and have made it a soft goal to try and finish this dang thing by next Art Fight at the latest. (I'll do another post on himi gouache another day.) This really helped with the areas that I fumbled with, or sections that weren't popping as much as I wanted them to. In my final versions the bottom illustration had the most gouache on it, which really pulled it all together!! The only illustration I did any major digital painting on was the top-right portrait of Nacht- his artwork didn't look bad or anything, it just didn't have the level of oomph I wanted, which happens with trad art sometimes (and vise versa)!
Wrap-Up & Materials
Ngl, I really wanted to go into Art Fight with a BOOM! I wanted to roll in, do some crazy illustration to show how much I loved some of these characters...and then life happened LOL! I also did not plan on joining AF this year, so idk in what reality showing up with some massive painting was realistic lol. Still- I AM very happy with this art! Every time I flip through my sketchbook I get to see this, and its a nice reminder of having fun with my art.

Sometimes you get really into playing AU versions of characters from franchises you have been endeared to for 10+ years!
Anyway here's my version of Sonia/Sonja from Tides! Might do a write up on her one day!
