“Why are you looking at me like that..? Have I gotten in your way?” She wasn’t even sure if she was actually in anyone’s way, she’d made certain as to not obstruct the path of pedestrians in order to collect herself and pray for a moment, but the other person looking at her sure looked irate....

“...Aren’t you hot in that?” Came a meek ask. But compared to the rest of the people on this beach in summer attire, watching someone in a full piece suit in this weather made Anda uncomfortable just looking at her. Then again, wearing swim trunks that didn’t match a vintage JAWS shirt made them look too comfortable by comparison, perhaps.

(”Maybe she’s a security guard or something.”)

“Ba’aaaaaaal!!” She’s jogging to catch up the her new acquainted friend from the festival, stopping before her and smiling. “There you are! I was looking everywhere for you! I wanted to share something new and exciting with you.”

Honestly, even if Ba’al didn’t like flowers that much, food was always a good way to get to know someone since everyone seemed to like eating something! Plus, she did want to make more friends here, get to know people. Beyond that, figuring out if she’d ever get home wasn’t a thought since...well, it seemed impossible at the moment. 

Anyway...

   He stands not too far off from the parade of the midnight hour, observing it. To his left is a young girl, whom he’s never met or really seen before. Though he’s not always keen on speaking to everyone around him or striking conversation with every face he spots, he side glances her and then rights his attention to the yōkai, noting that she seems to be studying them. 

Sand wasn’t great at festivals, but the emotion of the place made it easy for him to get caught up in the excitement at times. At the moment however, he was taking a break to study the banners with the painting of sea creatures on it. Sure some he could figure out what were but others he didn’t have a clue.

He wondered if they were types of spirits or just normal creatures. Perhaps even creatures from other worlds? He did wish he had his book to write down what he thought of a few of the mystery creatures.

Though while lost in his thoughts, he felt a look aimed at him from afar. he took a quick look around before he spotted someone who was looking his way. He didn’t know if they were just studying him or what but he didn’t really want to call out.
