Oh boy... She's learned how to unspool papertowels in the work room. I hope this dosen't become a "game".
At the end of the unspooling, the two spacecraft will be 25km apart â and Bolas-L will, at closest approach, be just two and a half kilometres above the surface.

Finding Patterns || Candace & Minori

Hmm?
[Candace lifts her foot, the sewing machine sheâd been bent over coming to a halt as she glances around. Sheâd been so absorbed in a particularly complicated corner sheâd been sewing that she hadnât even noticed the customer come in.]
Oh, shoot, sorryâ one secondâ
[She folds the fabric up onto her work station, getting to her feet once sheâs sure none of it will slip off the table.] Sorryâ what can I help you with?
[She nods her head as the woman asks for a moment. She stuffs her hands into the pockets of her dress, smiling warmly at the woman as she approaches.]
Ah-I wanted to ask if your shop sold any patterns...thereâs only a limited stock at the vendors in my town and I donât really like anything they have currently...I tried looking in other towns and nowhere else seems to have them either.Â

A Trophy (Jamie/Candace)
un-spooling replied to your post:[Claps for Jamie's win from the sidelines, all...
Candace blinked in surprise at the hand-off, holding onto the plush toy at a slight distance, as though itâd come to her by mistake. âW-waitâ are you sure? Butâ Jamieâ you /won/ this, though! I donâtâ I donât deserve toââ
âIf I was not sure, I would not have given it to you.â She crossed her arms under her poncho, pursing her lips into a slight pout. It was true that Candace did not deserve it; she did not win this herself. âThink of it as holding my trophy. As I said, I donât have space for it at home.â
[Smiles as the door is opened - a little sheepishly, for all the unplannedness of the visit.] Saying hello! The ferry stops here because it's halfway between Castanet and my destination - so when I heard that when I set out this morning, I wanted to come say hi. But not without, you know-- [She presents the picnic basket.] --bringing you something!
[She couldnât be happier- a visit from her friend and free lunch!]
Yer on a layover? For how long? Come in, come in! [ushers her friend in, a big grin on her face] Howâs it been? I ainât seen you in a good bit- not since the beach festival! [takes the basket from Candace, pointing her towards the table] Did ya want a drink? I just got in, but I could put the kettle on? And I made cookies yesterday- though they ainât as good as yers.Â
[She comes knocking at Sara's door, a picnic basket clutched at her hip in both hands-- rocking on her heels cheerfully as she waits for her friend to either answer the door or come by from somewhere else on the farm.] âŞ
[She dusts her boots off at the back door, walking into the house after a long morning of chores. Now she has to prepare lunch and start laundry before heading out to afternoon chores- no one could say she didnât work, that was for sure]
Hmm?
[walks to the front door curiously, surprised. She hadnât seen anyone enter the farm when sheâd come in from the fields- then again, sheâd been weighing the option of soup or rice in her head]
Candace! [beams throwing open the door] Itâs so good ta see ya- whatâre ya doing all the way out here?
