The annual Llao Llao Forum in Bariloche focuses on economic growth and development opportunities for Argentina and the region.

Today, Queen Máxima spoke at the forum in her capacity as UNSGSA. She discussed how a #financialhealth approach can both improve outcomes for consumers and drive market growth.

The UNSGSA also held a number of bilateral meetings, including with Argentina's Minister of the Economy Luis Caputo.

Queen Máxima attended the G20 summit in Rome as the UN Secretary General’s Special Advocate for inclusive finance and development.

On the first day she held meetings with various attendees including the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, and the Minister of Finance for India.

During day 2 she gave a presentation during the side event focused on micro-mediumsized enterprises and women-led businesses. She also met with the president of Rwanda.

Her Majesty Queen Máxima, Special Advocate for Financial Health of the UN Secretary-General (UNSGSA), is at BlackRock in London today, Tuesday, June 16, together with the Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Rachel Blake, for the launch of the National Coalition for Workplace Savings. Prior to this, Queen Máxima is participating in the roundtable discussion Leveraging Data for Growth & Resilience with financial service providers, organised by The Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology.

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands began her visit to Indonesia with a day marked by tradition and a close connection with the local community. Upon arriving at a textile factory in Solo, where she learned about the Reimagining Industries to Support Equality (RISE) program, the Queen was honored according to Indonesian customs: first, a ceremonial scarf was placed around her neck, followed by a delicate necklace of white flowers, a symbol of respect and welcome.
