My mom made us all wait 'til we were eight to get our ears pierced. 16 to get them double pierced. And it was discouraged to get anything else after we turned 18. Like..."we won't pay for college!" kind of discouraged.

I thought they meant anywhere other than my ears!!

So when I was 18, mom-o and I both went to get our cartilage pierced. That was pretty fun to do together. 

Later that year, I got another one in my cartilage..right next to the first one. Somehow, I ended up with 4 holes in each ear. 

Welp. Today I lost those two top ones. I took them out to go running since my headphones mess with them...and then forgot to put them back in. Whoops!
