There is speculation that Iran may have used a cyber-attack on the United States drone that they claimed to have brought down. Authorities are fully aware that the GPS on the device was faulty at the time, and this may have given Iranians a window to hack the unmanned drone and tell it to land. This would not be the first time a cyber-attack was successful against one of the U.S. aerial devices. In 2009, the Taliban was able to had an Air Force Predator Drone and retrieve some of the footage it had captured. CIA handlers are currently looking at the probability of this being the case with the drone which Iranian engineers claimed they were able to infiltrate. Do you have any thoughts on this?
