the much older woman looked down at the younger guy .. she knew he was never one for talking , and she wasn't one either .. well , that's a lie ! she does enjoys having conversations with her colleagues and those she'll at least call a 'friend' . Mulberry however wasn't one of them . she always sees him around but at best they'll work together in GROUP .

but whatever god bought upon her that now she's working as a duo with this person she barely knew .. whatever her director was thinking , although she can't complain too much .. as that is her director after all - it still doesn't remove that she wish she can just kick him in his nuts since he kept being an annoying bunch but whatever .

but due to this being a stealth mission -- she was always one that gets chose to do stealth mission and easy assassination as that is exactly what she's good at and what her devil fruit ability is much used for . and they were working together as a duo , no group , no Fukurou [ the guy who keeps spilling everything ] , no Jabra [ the annoying brother ] , nor Kumadori [ the guy who kept threatening to commit seppuku ] . so she was pretty much safe .. and since this guy is so quiet , she might as well let this be a completely stealth mission .

but it seems her idea of pretending to be a mother and her son were too bizarre for the likes of him .

DEVIL IN DISGUISE

he have beaten multiple people , how they were all weak ! it was disappointing really , their punches and attack felt like nothing but mosquito bites . WEAK , HOW EMBARRASINGLY WEAK ! FOR AN ENEMIES THAT CAME ALL AT HIM ALL AT ONCE ! THIS WAS EMBARRASSING AND PATHETIC . but how could they defeat the MIRACLE after all ? is even a MIRACLE that a few of them were still alive , felt like an annoying fly that won't die to him , really !

as they scream , pleaded , and cries out for mercy . for him to stop this torment , his foot came to their poor face , unable to move and unable to do anything they had to look at it . but as they were about to get stomped on a voice called out , to the one that fought the miracle , it was a miracle that someone was here to .. maybe stop him ? but to Gerard , it was just annoying , stopping him in his tracks for putting down justice to criminals and villains .

his eyes were glowing , as he turned around stopping his foot in his track before putting it down back . his smile were wide , it could be seen as a friendly gesture to some , but to this situation .. it was scary to see him smile so widely .

Ace was going around the sea on his striker. Enjoying the sun and wind as he rushed over the water. It had been a while since had spotted a boat, which wasn't that weird, but it was weird to spot a small boat in these seas. Curiosity got the better of him as he decided to go closer to it. At least he could see if they needed help or not. Maybe they had escaped from something or where just utterly lost. Once close enough that he knew the other could hear his shouts he made big waving motions to attract their attention. "Oi~!!! Are you alright?! Do you need help??"

a hand grabbing his golden staff and spinning it around in a circle . bring in from the side to the front before he stopped it in all suddenness , letting it points up at the sky . before he then bonk the unlucky person in front of him , it wasn't harsh -- but maybe it is ? he couldn't tell since they're so small compare to him . he look like an ant to his sight . it feels almost soring to just look down at him like this .. well the other party would be more of a sore neck with how much he's gonna be looking up at him .

and there's a thing called karma -- or would fitting would be called , GOD'S PUNISHMENT . those who defies HIM do not deserve to live , their life span only just got shorten , he didn't do anything wrong ! he just bought their doom and demise to them a little faster than they prepared and anticipated for !

and yet , that is what the unlucky luck luck boy in front of him doesn't get .

all the same , stupid , dumb , moron , every word in the skybook ever to describe how stupid one can be .. a lamb , is what he looked like to him . going along everybody else's , why would you want to be the same as everybody -- stupid . why would you want to be stupid , life is not forever , add a little flavor to it by doing and committing to whatever goal you have .

but to him . it didn't matter if his goal meant people have to die , the one from his land were obliterated . he couldn't careless about him , they were nothing but people that did not understand the divine judgment that they've put upon themselves , is only that the devil -- or the god , have given him the ability to kill those who he wish that have defies against the wish and the rules of the god .

Water 7.

An island that’s notorious for its ships, ready to serve anyone and everyone; from Grand Admiral to Sea Emperor, they’re willing to offer a boat to any soul that steps foot on its land- so long as they have the money.

During Mulberry’s journey, going here was one of the destinations he’s got in mind. After all, something other than a rowboat that’s about to break down at any moment would be nice. Of course, he wasn’t planning on getting a huge ship- something like that would be easily noticeable- but something… nicer, than what he’s got currently.

However, with the little funds Mulberry’s got in his pocket, the ‘pirate’ has little hope his wishes will be fulfilled. The last island he went to didn’t go the best, in terms of raising stakes, and if he had the choice, he wouldn’t go here.

Sadly, he doesn’t have anymore food to last him an extended amount of time, and Water 7 was the closest island at the moment, so against his will, Mulberry sailed here.

Ugh…

Food, and lodging (if cheap enough/if he can win enough through gambling) are his main goals. Sucks that he won’t be able to get a new boat, but he’s not one to complain if he managed to find an island to stay on.

Squinting his eyes, the ‘pirate’ notices somebody standing near the docks.

Hopefully a dock worker. It’d be easier to get directions from somebody who works here.

Once stopped at the docks, Mulberry calls out to the stranger, trying to make himself loud enough to hopefully not lose them.

working at water 7 were one hell of a ride - considering she is the only woman who works as a carpenter here in the middle of men , she gets hit on quite sometimes but at least they're respectful with it -- and after all they're all friends here ! she appreciates their compliments quite a lot . Paulie on the other hand keeps calling her shameless due to how short her pants is -- he calls every women that and she finds it quite funny , couldn't help but chuckles quite slightly . the mayor , Iceburg is an extremely kind man , even able to actually accept her into this working place without having much questions or much trouble with how she is . Kaku , Lucci , and pretty much everyone else is always nice to her .

oh , how she wish all those feelings were true .

she was taking a walk around , it was free time and she was out to get a puff of smoke , she wouldn't dare do it in a working place after all - it is still her workplace . pulling her mask down and putting a cigarette in her mouth lightning it up but before she could get a puff of smoke out she immediately cough it up grabbing the cigarette out her mouth and crumbling it with the fire burning proceeding to burn her own hand in it . gritting her teeth slightly and wincing a bit from the pain .

throwing the cigarette aside from behind her and brushing her hand on her pants . too lazy to pull her mask up she spoke back at him while slowly taking steps towards him - he seems to be a bit injured ? she couldn't quite tell from afar .
