No utopia: I am afraid we will never see eye-to-eye, for human beings will not divert from this destructive path we are tracing. Minds locked within the confides of thought processes that commits to harmful convictions and belief systems. A good number of us never want to compromise our "Yeah, yeah, forget about your injustice, but what about my mine?" attitude in favor of some understanding. It's ironic how we as people can make such remarkable advancements in modern medicine, science, technology, art and literature, yet we cannot come up with ways to stop being savages to other people. Even the most brilliant of mines has not got all the answers after all. And now that we have the mascot of hatred, selfishness, and intolerance in office, things have become even more insufferable. However, I will not act as though things were better when #44 was in office. Of course it was always there since for as long as we could remember. America (or the WORLD for that matter) has never been great to begin with. Not so much the nations, but the beings who inhabit them. It is 2017, but it feels vaguely like the 50s and 60s are repeating themselves with all the political upheaval taking place.
