Others appear to use other things more than I do such as listening to the radio and watching tv, gaming, Netflix and streaming sites, going to the cinema, etc. Other things like downloads and social media mostly they do the same as or less than me. Personally I spend most of my time on facebook messaging friends, downloading files, and watching youtube videos. I mostly do things with a purpose in mind and this can be opposed to the more hedonistic reasoning for watching movies that most people have. I personally feel that the internet is overused by far and at very least some of my peers agree with me.

As there’s more overall free time during the day on the weekends the number of activities that would previously have been unavailable, such as going to the cinema or watching the tv and playing computer games for longer periods, can be done over the weekend. I think it is for this reason that people are instead doing less of these things according to the chart – they’re going out and doing other things instead, albeit when they do they do more of it, such as longer download times. The numbers increase but the time amount doesn’t and this is an interesting dichotomy. I think the reason that the class uses photoshop more during the weekend is because they don’t own it at home, or if they do they’re less likely to use it other than for college purposes apparently.
Add: My parents’ viewing habits were around an hour per day of TV (but back then it was black and white and there were only 3 channels) and there was no internet, social media, or personal computers.
