Konokono (my son, my child, my slug) is such a rebel! He escaped this evening by tearing a hole in the plastic wrap over the top of the enclosure! Thank goodness I found him when I did because it's incredibly dry in my room.
After I coaxed him onto my finger, he started EATING ME!?? I could feel his teeny tiny teeth gnawing into my flesh! Lmao slug teeth are so tiny and dull that it didn't actually hurt, but it was undeniable what he was doing. When I tried to put him back into his enclosure onto some actual slug food (a piece of lettuce), he refused! He was enjoying his human flesh too much to bother with his veggies! I moistened my finger and gently nudged him onto his proper food, and fingers crossed there won't be any more funny business!
