Cryptotaxonomy Tournament: Equines
Note: these creatures do not actually exist. The following descriptions are facetious
Pegasus. This equine species is made up of Pegasi, which have wings capable of self-powered flight. It works because of magic or something.
Unicornis. This equine species is made up of Unicorns, which have a single horn on their head, and are capable of telekenesis and healing powers.

KH OC Week 2024~
Day 1: Introductions
Back again for another @khoc-week and as always so excited to see what everyone does. This week, I will be introducing and showing off Annora! Annora is my official keykid oc, who for the most part takes the role of the player. But things don’t completely go to plan, and as the week goes on her story will stray from the original players story.
For basic information, Annora is a member of Unicornis. She’s stubborn, strong willed, and filled with sass. Above all else she values honesty, making it a goal to never lie. Her favorite past time is photography, though her party members will often tell you she can get a little stalkerish with the camera. She fights fiercely to protect her friends and does everything in her power to fight the up coming war. Though there’s only so much one person can do.

Also since I’m starting to really deep dive into KH UX stuff finally and I’m watching people play kingdom hearts games on twitch for the purposes of lore diving
I really never noticed how much Unicorn imagery is all over the inside of the Mansion in Twilight Town
like there’s Unicorn heads and busts and statues and emblems all over the place in there, and for no other reason than apparent decoration
but if Castle Oblivion can turn out to be a transformed Land of Departure and Daybreak Town from the age of fairytales can turn into Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion/Traverse Town/Scala Ad Caelum over time
Who’s to say Twilight Town wasn’t also once an important place in the age of Fairytales? Or maybe just for Ira of Unicornis specifically?
No idea what the implications of all that are though
But it’s really making me wonder if perhaps we’ve passed over other places decorated innocuously with imagery of Foxes, Snakes, Bears, Leopards, Scorpions or Goats that simply didn’t stand out at the time because we hadn’t connected the Foretellers and the Unions to the Main series yet
Kingdom Hearts is just one of those series that’s so good at hiding stuff in plain sight, that means nothing the first time you see it and so you pass over it entirely, and then only later realize it had significance
*edit* Im watching someone play in Hollow Bastion right now, and Im actually seeing tons of Feline-ish statues too
The fountain with one emblem is a stretched feline face, with what looks like Monkeys/Apes on either side of it, the sconces in the walls are all clearly Leopards, theres one statue that holds an emblem of a horselike Ox, and the room you fight maleficent in has two sphinxlike leopard statues and all along the walls have Eagles on the pillars
