character in general: I promise I’ll refrain myself from turning this into an emotional rant about recent events; now, Spock—— sheer complexity, layers upon layers upon layers; we have the logical,analytical view on the world, the geometrical alignment of rules, an implosionof reason, & then we see – a warped reflection of emotions, the bent imagethrough formulated mirror, through existential understanding of moral, theembodiment of space & moral & goodness, weighing the value of feelings& this whirlwind that threatens to break the stoic façade ( / sits down& sighs for years ) such intricate beauty how they play them: You always know what towrite in terms of dialogue that can grasp the very essence of the character,and that just makes me so happy, because excellent character portrayals arealways a delight to come across.
