Hello, and welcome to a basic introduction of the Bureau of Anomalous Affairs. This introduction will give you the basic history of the B.A.A. And its goals, so without further ado let’s jump in!

founded in 1952 the B.A.A. Was originally founded by a university teacher named Dr.Brauchman in Kaiserslautern Germany. You see Dr.Brauchman was a huge skeptic of supernatural, especially about the rumors of paranormal beings on his campus. So one night while he was out in a bar with his friends, he made a bet that he would disprove the existence of the paranormal beings on his university campus. So Dr.Brauchman used some of his savings to buy himself a small warehouse outside of the city of Kaiserslautern. This is where he stored his data and conducted his research. 3 months into his research in the year of 1942 Dr.Brauchman would learn that the paranormal is very much real, and it would cause him to eventually start writing a book about his theories of the paranormal and paranormal research. In 1946 Dr.Brauchman was able to interest scientist across Germany with his research eventually forming the B.A.A originally named the scientific institute for the research of paranormal phenomena. Throughout the years the Dr.Bracuhman organization grew in size eventually reaching 150 members by 1950 and they had 7 research facilities across Europe, but Dr.Brauchman felt that the anomalous were far too dangerous to just research. So eventually in 1952 he formed the B.A.A a organization that both researched and contained the supernatural while also working to preserve normalcy. In 1954 the B.A.A. Was able to receive a big donation of $50 million dollars from the French government this money would help the B.A.A. Reach membership numbers of 2,500 and reach 100 facilities within Europe and 3 facilities in North America. Eventually the B.A.A. We know today was reached in 1968 with membership numbers of over 300,000 and with facilities worldwide in the north hemisphere with the first Asian built in 1971. Today the B.A.A. Operates primarily in Western Europe and south east Asia.

Cause the thing is, every time i dont have an umbrella they just FIND ME.

Ive been walking down the street before it even starts raining a stranger stopped by me, got out of their car, handed me an umbrella out of there trunk and drove off without saying a word. 10 minutes later rain.

Ive gotten to a new room (i can never afford an apartment so i always rent rooms) and it was completely empt except an umbrella just sitting in the center of the floor.

One time i was walking to work, at the time i had to walk down this highway for like a mile and half to get there. Along the highway there is absolutely nothing, just trees. I just had to get rid of my last umbrella cause it was worn out. Im halfway down the highway and it starts to rain, and not a minute later of walking theres an umbrella hanging from a tree branch like nature itself said "hear looks like you could use this."
