Grace’s upbringing was hard because Graces’s mother struggled to get herself a job, well she didn’t really try. Grace’s father left Grace as a young child to persue his dream as a pilot and never returned. Grace always saw the positive side of things, tried her best with everything she did so that she didn’t turn out like a deadbeat like her mother. One night Grace and her mother had a row and Grace was left homeless. Grace luckily got the opportunity to move to Clearwater High which comes with accomodation so that she has a place to stay.

Claire is one of the popular girls on campus, but she doesn't have many real friends. She old befriends people to manipulate them into doing what she wants, she's aiming to be at the top of the school's social list by throwing parties, being at every party, and making sure to be "friends" with everyone even the gross stoners. She's very sassy and sort of a bitch but she's good company to have around, people don't know why they want to be her friend, they just do. And frankly Claire doesn't mind that at all.
