Soaring! Sorry for the trouble but I have a question. Since Steven and May wouldn't have children who would take over Devon? I know Steven doesn't want to be tied down to it. And Steven is the only one in the blood line who can take over. He's literally known as Devon's heir by all of Hoenn despite used to being the champion. If he took over Devon he'd detest it. What do you think?

I think Devonās still a business, and I think calling Steven theĀ āheirā really has more to do with corporate politics than it does with him actually inheriting the business. If Steven doesnāt want the business, thatās fine, but of course itās what his father would have preferred. At the end of the day, itās still a business, and itās going to go to whoever is going to make it the most profitable, which we know isnāt Steven. Joseph Stone certainly didnāt start the company after all, considering itās Devon Co and not Stone Co. I think one of two things happens here.
1. Tabitha or Shelly. We know that both used to work for the company and either/both made solid advancements and showed promise while they were working there. Archie and Maxie are both severely intelligent, but I think there was enough bad press for them individually to get involved with the company, but I think itās possible that Tabitha or Shelly were able to stay under the radar just enough to be able to shine through once again with a mind for the company.
2. Silph Co buys them out and expands into Hoenn. We know the companies at the very least have had relations at one point or another thanks to Stevenās dialogue in HGSS, making this a possible route for the future of the company, and not necessarily a bad one.
