   in the harrowing dark sat the crossbreed , where the plummeting darkness pealed wakes of starlight in the lordran skies . it was easy pickings , for the crossbreed , draconian eyes ablaze in the flame of a bonfire lit by an undead . quite honestly , he didn’t know or care how it came into being , merely that it might serve to aid in his hunt for his master . nameless , a shadowy scion in the clouds of a mind unremembered . was it the war of fire that had scorched his memories ? maundering quietly , a knee propped for his arm , this dazed contemplation lowered his guard -- only the fire sounding and gales of night sculling through abandoned and chilled ruins .

She was hopeful, albeit it was a small hope, that she would come across others who were also willing to take on this mission to find the talisman.
