Junkrat was impatient at the best of times, but the dead manâs uncertainty was really beginning to irk him. Sets of piercing eyes loomed in the corners and cracks just beyond the shadows, watching, waiting. Needless to say, Junkrat didnât have much time to convince the other. âLook, mate, either hop on or become someonesâ lunch. You got a gun, yeah? Saw it on ya earlier. Just hold on tight and shoot anythinâ that tries anâ stops us!â
Without so much as a warning, the gangly demon was shooting up the side of the cliff face with inhuman speed, his mismatched legs and seemingly charred right arm doing little to slow him. Monsters of all shapes and sizes lurched from the darkness for the chance at an easy meal, but this meal wouldnât be going down without a fight. Junkrat paid little attention to the man on his back and instead propelled himself upward as fast as he could, dodging swiping claws and gnashing teeth. This hadnât been easy the first time and this go of it was still daunting, to say the least, but he wasnât alone this time. It felt nice to know that someone (literally) had his back.
The undead manâs accuracy must have been precise and lethal as the two soon found themselves on the flate stone of the cliffâs peak. Junkrat dropped the other to the ground like the dead weight he was (ha) and flopped onto his back beside him, breathing coming in loud huffs as the demon allowed himself a momentâs rest. âNice shooting back there, mate,â Junkrat wheezed with a breathless pass at a laugh, âWhatchu say your name was, again?â
