Apparently I missed watching it originally because it looked bad. And it is, but it is a very enjoyable bad. A nice distraction from the end of the world. Now I am watching the original series on IMDB-TV. It doesn’t seem to be in the regular list of watchables. You have to pick an episode and choose the “Watch Free on IMDB TV” option.      The Gold Key comic series went 9 issues 1964-1966. My Favorite Martian S02E13 To Make a Rabbit Stew, First Catch a Martian - Dec 20 1964 . . My Favorite Martian is mostly a sci-fi show in underlying premise only. Mostly it’s a benign sitcom on par with I Dream of Jeanie and never gets as intense as Bewitched’s episodes with angry Witches and Warlocks, or even Agnes Moorehead’s Endora.  . . . So it’s a little disturbing when season 2 episode 13 introduces the world to Donnie Darko. A young girl’s pet bunny eats one of Uncle Martin’s martian vitamins and turns into a disturbing man-sized rabbit. And this monster bunny makes the most disturbing moaning noises when it’s unhappy, and as mostly naked Bill Bixby REALLY doesn't like the monster bunny, it makes the horrible noises a lot. My Favorite Martian S01E31 Miss Jeckyll And Hyde - May 17 1964 In this episode, Paula, a brain played by Marlo Thomas (That Girl, Friends, Ocean's Eight, married to Phil Donahue) is helping Uncle Martin with a problem he couldn't solve. So Uncle Martin is actually threatened by her intelligence so he calls her a coward for leaning too heavily on her intelligence and not taking off her glasses and fixing her hair so she could be a beauty. Her sorta boyfriend Edgar, played by Tom Skerritt (Alien, Top Gun, Contact) shows up and notices she's beautiful, and permanently distracts her and Uncle Martin is safe from the woman who could help him fix everything and go home. Also weird is that Uncle Martin wiggles his finger to give her a makeover while she seems to watch.
