Why Uncle Man is the Best Character Ever
He gives advice to his sister.
And good sass.
And very good advice to his nephew.
The sheer empathy of this is amazing. @absolutebl this is why we need more older queer characters in mentor roles, seriously.

I can't remember who posted something about Uncle Man singlehandedly cutting out the theoretical 8 extra episodes worth of drama in 21 Days Theory, but yep, he did that (with the help of Frank). He was not letting anyone get away with their bullshit.
Although I do think that Tee and Bever seem like strong enough actors to handle more drama and angst, and charismatic enough to carry something full length. Which I would love to see them in sometime. Apparently Tee was the lead in The Cupid Coach (with another actor). Was it any good?
But there's a lot of value to a lighter comedy where the characters communicate maturely. I'm not Thai, but I feel like this is the movie you'd show your homophobic but persuadable relatives to open their minds. It would work on non-Thai family as well, but I'm sure there's a lot of details that make it speak very clearly to a Thai audience.
BL- BOYS' LOVE:
Series: 21 DAYS THEORY (2022, THAILAND)
X (PATSAPON JANSUPPAKITKUN aka BEVER) has secured Q's (KHUNAKORN SUNANTHAM aka TEE) services for a video shoot with the help of the principal (not that he needed it)
Uncle Man serving as driver Q takes a cat nap in the backseat giving X an just the excuse he needs to bring Q in a bit closer and ever the observant uncle Man notices it all.
I absolutely love how oblivious Junichiro Tokiwa is to absolutely everything that goes on around him

Uncle Man is my new favorite older queer in BL, between the talk he gave to Q's mother about just supporting him for his own sake and the little jab about not being into younger men because they throw tantrums and he's too lazy to deal with that because he's been teasing his nephew about his boy is just... A+, love a man who's comfortable in his skin and accepts his nephew exactly as he is and is willing to wait but not willing not to tease him.
Uncle Man is why this show is only 4 episodes long. Without him, we'd be stuck with 12 episodes of misunderstandings, random fights and unclear motivations. But Uncle Man is here to guide the youth, comfort the family and make sure everyone gets to their happy ending.
