Important facts about Uncle Istvan:
Uncle Istvan is immune to all damage from creatures. He can fight dragons with his axe, get stepped on by giants and even tank the powers of wizards as long as they’re summoned creatures - planeswalkers can flatten him and he’s not so good against Lightning Bolts, but hey.
Uncle Istvan is from an old Magic set. So old that there was no such thing as a legendary creature. The upshot of this? There isn’t just one Uncle Istvan. You have many Uncles Istvan that you didn’t even know about.
In fact, his original creature type was Uncle Istvan. So for a while technically every shapeshifter was also your uncle.Say hi to Uncle Mistform Ultimus for me.
