āāø @uncannygears liked for a starter.
āI understand your curiosity, but my answerās still no.ā
Ā Ā Ā A sharp click of her tongue accompanies the tapping of her penĀ āpon the clipboard in her hand, and a slight nodding of her head to try and wordlessly guide Megan into the more publicĀ lab of hers. One that was starkly different than the one Vasiliki kept closed off for everyoneāsĀ safety. Ā Ā Ā There was so much havoc and chaos that one little bacteria could cause after all. Ā Ā Ā Regardless, as the duo enter the clinic, the first thing that would have caught some peopleās eye was how near spotlessĀ it was. If not for time staining all things, the area would have looked almost new; Instruments put away. No lingering stains to indicate bloodshed. If anything, the only thing out of place was a candle burning in the corner and the floral scent that wafted from it to wrap itself around the safe haven the doctor took upmost pride in.
āNow, tell me, have you been taking your medication like Iāve asked you? I donāt want to have to start it over because you missed a few, but I think thereās something else we couldĀ try to speed up the dye, but Iād rather not give you moreĀ radiation, just in case.ā
ā if u want because i'm curious too now
Ā ā 10 Interaction HeadcanonsĀ (open)
1. A little generic to begin with but, I feel as though Engineers and Heavies would naturally get along, seeing as theyāre both weapons experts in their own rights. Maybe catch Megan and Misha able to talk about the mechanics of high power automatic weapons? With enough trust Megan could watch Heavy take Sasha apart.
2. Also going off your post! If Megan is really mind blown over Heavyās shift in personality then heās going to keep it up for as long as possible. āScreaming onĀ battlefield? I do not know what you are talking about. Have I mentioned my family is very big?āĀ
3. Meganās entire personality would perplexĀ Heavy. A punky confident girl with the arrogance of his Scout, but a true genius beneath. Another strong personality from the Western world that heād have to get used to.
4. Misha is fully aware that Fortress is a goddamn laughing stock. He doesnāt really care. And while he would appear standoffish towards the high ranked teams such as Citadel, internally he is genuinely impressed by their skills
5. I know you said she only claims to be a mad scientist butāMisha has had more than enough experience with interacting with that type of person. No quirks she could have would outdo his own Medic, so I think heād have good patience in their interactions.
6. I love that you pointed out how opposite they are in attitude! With Heavy being so calm and Megan so passionate! Just wanted to say it again! AH
7. Oh also maybe a bit of thatĀ āGuns/machines are better than peopleā Mood sometimes. What I mean is like, Misha 110% gets wanting to isolate yourself away from people and just having some time to yourself and an object youāre devoted to.
8.Ā He doesnāt understand Citadel'sĀ deal with socks but heās never gonna ask. But maybe heāll ask his sisters. AlsoĀ I imagine Megan and any of Heavyās sisters would be absoluteĀ chaos. Lots of spunky strong girls who get in fights. Misha would need a lie-down and an aspirin and just kinda hopes that they donāt get dragged into her team.
9. Following on from the sister thing, I hc that Misha had to pick out and buy a lot of clothing and make-up for his sisters to send off to Siberia, and since his team is a bunch of clueless men and his own grasp on womenās fashion isnāt the best, heād probably try to enlist the help of someone like Megan to drag around some American department store (I could honestly spend forever thinking about this aksjdhajksh)
10. Apon hearing that Megan, along with the rest of Citadel were wiped out by the Classics, Misha would feel a great pit in his stomach. Heās seen death before, also by people much too young and undeserving. But thereās something just wrong about a team better then team just being gone, while Fortress only survived because they werenāt seen as a threat.
@uncannygears
āUm, hello. I wasnāt expecting any visitors today, but when do i ever expect them anyway.ā Val sighed as she closed the door to her room behind her.Ā āSo, what do need of me? Iām assuming this is going to be professional, considering you knocked instead of breaking it down / yelling at it. So....whatās up?ā
@uncannygears cont.
Ā Ā Ā To say that Jean was surprised at the development would have been a lie; Late nights happened no matter who you were, but sixty-one hours was a long stretch that should have sent someone to the grave, or wind up killing them before they hit the ground. What was truly shocking in all of this was that Megan had been able to make the drink in her hands without setting fire to herself or the base (if the steam rising from the cup had been any indicator that it was more than just water).
Ā Ā Ā āSixty- Jesus Christ, Meg-ā Worry and disbelief furrowed the womanās brow as she stepped to her friend who looked nothing short of dead on her feet; Reminiscent of a fresh corpse with the last few, weak strings of life attached to it. There was temptation to take the mug from her grasp; Hand raising before eventually settling on the back of a shoulder blade. Ā Ā Ā It was easier to keep her standing that way. Least a stiff breeze break into the base and wind up knocking Megan over.
āWhatās been keepinā you up?ā
Ā Ā Ā Honestly, just from knowing the other woman, the options were limitless for what could have been causing this sixty-one hour dead sprint she seemed so enthralled in. New ideas. New inventions. New problems to chase after. Perhaps one she just didnāt figure out yet, but it wasnāt a reason to harm oneās self over (or at least, thatās what Jean believed).
āWhy donātācha sit down for a sec?ā A soft, guiding pressure bloomed from the hand on Meganās shoulder as Jean gestured to one of the seats around them, and steered her to the nearest one.

āAre you in danger of becoming a good man, Doctor?ā
ā @uncannygears Ā // Ā Gladiator (Sentence Starters)
for her efforts, megan earns a hearty laughĀ Ā as Medic drags himself up from where heās been scrubbing at a stubbornly reddish patch of floor. Conversations are best had when oneās not slipping and sliding about on the floor and dripping in blood, after all. And so he props himself against the edge of one counter across the lab and turns with a tilt of the head, a curious eye, towards Merricks. Itās a strange question given the moment. Medic isnāt all too sure himself how the current situation ā and a laboratory floorās worth of blood and gore between the two of them, a product of an experiment gone explosively wrong ā provides any indication that heās as of late softened to the point ⦠and to the point of something as unconvincing as goodness.Ā
Medic, a good man ā ha, imagine thatā¦Ā !
ā A sudden question, āĀ he challenges in turn, a brow cocking in amusement and only barely-masked disbelief. He drops his towel in the bucket of blood heās toting in the crook of one elbow ā and a pair of now thoroughly unused boxers, though wrapped and well-hidden inside the towel for the sake of company. Unseemly habits that he never seems to be able to shake ⦠though he supposes it might helpĀ if he relocated his underwear to a supply cabinet that isnāt shared with the laboratoryās non-hazardous cleaning supplies.Ā
Heās sure Merricks would understand anyway: how one can root himself so deeply into his work that his days are eaten thoroughly through by the haze of ambitions and countless trials and numerous more errors. Small deterrences, really, if the pursuit for knowledge is only feverish enough ⦠work becomes a process so involved to the point he begins to live and toĀ breatheĀ it. Itās no surprise that a man like Medic lives out of his laboratories more than he does his own bedroom in the base.
ā Once I discover a way of traversing worlds, perhapsĀ Iāll find myself abandoning my methods for the concepts of good and evil. But⦠!Ā as my expertise lies mainly in medicine and not so much the concept of the multiverse, I doubt there is any great risk for now. However, I am curious ⦠any reason for wondering if Iām in any such danger, Techie?Ā ā
šDoes their demeanor change when in a relationship? š«Do they display affection in public? What about in private? (give us the goods Rita)
šDoes their demeanor change when in a relationship?Yes. Sheās more cheerful, and sometimes will just laugh out of giddiness when she thinks of the person. It can look a little crazy and random to people who canāt see what sheās thinking. Mariaās someone who finds home in people and obvious affection. Sheās used to being alone and having strictly working relationships, but having romantic or platonic ones put her in a way happier mental place.
š«Do they display affection in public? What about in private?Hand holding yes please. Sheāll do hand kisses too, and just lean her head on peopleās shoulders if itās been a tiring day. This is basically all she does in public because she doesnāt want to draw attention, but sheāll go along if her partner wants more. In private she tends to be really clingy if people let her. Cuddles and leaning if theyāre just chilling, more hand holding and just always touching somehow.Sheāll periodically ask stuff like āwhat are you thinking right now?ā since sheās pretty bad at reading people and just genuinely wants to know.
4. what seemingly insignificant memories stuck with your character?
Wilhelm has always been drawn to books more than people and his parents never pushed him to branch out to make more friends nor was it a priority. Whatever book he could find he devoured the knowledge with an almost insatiable need. He was drawn to works of nonfiction, journals, biographies - anything that was grounded to the real world over fiction because he wanted to remember every aspect of how unforgiving life truly was and could never loose himself in the empty promises of something better in fiction. Before hitting puberty Wilhelm was a pretty homely and plain boy, having no notable features aesthetically and never drew the eye of anyone. His solitary personality that kept him to himself was actually beneficial to during WW2 where a large portion of childhood memories are hiding in whatever family was kind enough to shelter them.Ā
In one of the shelters there was a beaten and abandoned medical journal presumably left from a prior family before of Sir Harold Gilles considered the Father of Plastic Surgery and the journal ultimately helped a young Wilhelm decide what field of medicine he would pursue.Ā
