Estudiantes liberan carretera Huancayo - Huancavelica y esperan diálogo con nuevas autoridades de la UNAT

Tras la publicación de la Resolución Viceministerial 099-2025, del Ministerio de Educación, que reconforma la Comisión Organizadora de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Tayacaja (UNAT), la Federación de Estudiantes acordó desbloquear la carretera Huancayo – Huancavelica, en la zona de Imperial, una de sus medidas de protesta que afectaba el tránsito regional. 

Asimismo, los estudiantes dejaron de bloquear las demás carreteras de acceso a Pampas, por donde ya circulan vehículos. 

Sin embargo, el presidente de la Federación, Carlos Flores, confirmó que los estudiantes mantendrán la toma del campus universitario en Pampas hasta este viernes, día en el que se ha anunciado la llegada de la nueva comisión organizadora encabezada por el doctor Hugo Alfredo Huamani Yupanqui.

“Despejamos las vías como un gesto de buena voluntad, pero seguimos en estado de protesta porque aún no se resuelven los siete puntos restantes de nuestro pliego de reclamos”, declaró Flores. Agregó que, con la llegada de los nuevos directivos, se instalará una mesa de diálogo para tratar las demandas pendientes, entre las que destacan:

Solución a la crisis de infraestructura de las escuelas de Ingeniería Industrial y Forestal.

Investigación de presuntas compras sobrevaloradas y auditoría al uso de fondos FOCAM.

Aplicación de sanciones a administrativos y docentes involucrados en denuncias.

La comunidad tayacajina espera que este acercamiento permita la normalización de las actividades académicas, tras más de una semana de paralización, en contra de malos manejos en la Universidad de Tayacaja.

As the second level appellate review tribunal within the internal justice system, UNAT reviews, within its specific jurisdiction, appeals against judgments rendered by the UN Dispute Tribunal, the Dispute Tribunal of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), as well as appeals of decisions taken by the Standing Committee acting on behalf of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Board (UNJSPB), and by those organizations, agencies and entities that have accepted UNAT's jurisdiction.

UNAT usually meets in session three times a year, in spring, summer and fall sessions, to render judgments. The sessions are held in New York, Nairobi, or Geneva (at times at other locations). UNAT consists of seven judge positions. The UNAT President usually designates three judge panels to decide each case. However, under certain circumstances a case may be heard by the entire UNAT bench. UNAT judgments are final and binding on the parties.

The UNAT 2024 Fall Session will be held from 14 to 25 October 2024.  On 25 October 2024,  the outcome of the judgments rendered during the 2024 Fall Session will be announced by the Judges in the UNAT's oral proceedings in CR 6.
