Day 4
The last two days have been, uh, somewhat weird. Lots of tiny admin things done not a lot of the actual big things (this seems to be a theme of PhDing?), need to work on that. First half of Tue was great though, I figured out an important part of this grant proposal and afterwards had a productive and funny meeting with the person I’m TAing for this coming semester. Turns out 90% of my job is teaching a couple of writing workshops and doing weekly film screenings, so I’m basically being paid to watch movies. That’s pretty rad! Got a relatively early start this morning which always makes me feel better immediately (hello, Ben Franklin).
Today’s to do:
finish going through the Gladstone et al.
meet with co-authors to figure out what kind of revisions we wanna do
write a rough draft of grant proposal
meet with other co-author to finalize the already revised text
should also probably buy groceriesÂ
