3 things I’m proud of:

My mad math skillzzzzzz

My (somewhat meager but meh it’s good enough) art skillzzzzzzzzzzz

My performance at my local poetry slam. Not because my team made it in 3rd place, but because a trans boy (about 8 or 9 years old) came up to me and told me how much my poem meant to him. I had to cry in the corner for a bit. Definitely my proudest moment. Good job me.

Hmm, I have one in mind as the most life changing, but it isn’t necessarily good, so I’ll share a better memory.

At the last orchestra concert of my life, I got to play the piece that I’d dreamed of playing ever since picking up a viola: Elanor Rigby by The Beatles. The viola section of my orchestra was so beyond awesome that our sectionals we just spent playing random pieces, and I managed to convince our orchestra teacher to give us our own song in the concert. She knew how much I loved the song, so she had us play Elanor Rigby. She transposed it to the Alto clef and gave me the melody. I honestly can’t express how grateful I am to her because although it didn’t go perfectly the night of the concert, at that moment I thought I would explode from happiness.
