Draco’s attention was ripped away from the doodle he had been working on for the past hour. A word, almost squeaked, tore from his lips– ”Yes?!” Scrambling up from his belly, he sat up and let his crayon fall from his hand, eyes tracking its descent to the paper in front of him. The pink shoes were the first thing to catch his eyes as soon as the crayon landed, followed by the equally blindingly pink dress. Slender hands made to flip his drawing over, in hopes of hiding it from Umbridge’s gaze–after all, an artist should never show off an incomplete piece of art.

“I’m the Captain of the Guard.”
