Hey Kid, Get a God!

Father Irideus, also known as The Everything Reverend, is the sole disciple of His God. Unfortunately, his 'devotion' is more akin to parasitism: he siphons His God's magical energy in large quantities to perform miracles... for the highest bidders. There's not much left of His God anymore, but Father Irideus doesn't seem to care; with a little more grifting, his robe pockets will be so full of coin that he'll be set for life.

I started had the idea for Father Irideus in August 2023, and started drawing him in September 2023 but lost motivation due to college stress. Original drawing is under the cut. I think this one is more dynamic than the first draft imo. ~2 years will make a difference I guess!

My inspiration for Father Irideus is twofold: the song "The Bitter Suite IV and V: The Congregation and the Sermon in the Silt" and the character it's about, "The Priest", by The Dear Hunter, my fave band; and this enamel pin by @ultrainfinitepit:

here's the first half of my inktobers!! featuring my own ocs, and also @paleopronouns' eini .believe it or not, i actually finished these on time lol. i just do NOT like scanning stuff, so i put it off. there's brief descriptions of who's in each pic. i used three prompt lists, which are each under the cut. the formatting of the pics are:
