#StarTrek25thAnniversary Developed by #Interplay Published by #UltraGames Released in #1992 Stardate 72100.7 Ironically enough it wasn't my father who got me into #StarTrek, it was mother. My mother had a huge crush on #CaptainKirk and #WilliamShatner in general. My father would usually nap when my mom watched Star Trek. We used to have a snack and drink chocolate milk together and try to figure out the episodes. I had a crush on some of the women on the show, human or otherwise much like Captain Kirk himself. The 25th Anniversary game is actually quite good, it plays very much like the show. It's kind of a point and click/action adventure game. You play as Captain James T Kirk and he can bring two companions with him including #Spock and other crew members. Each member has their own abilities and you have to use them to complete the mission. There is even some space battles with the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. I've watched all 7 Star Trek shows and all 13 movies. I even loved the rebooted series and hoping for more. I think the franchise is great and had some really amazing stories and some that fell flat just like some of their videos games. This one however is enjoyable. Overall I'll rate the game a 7 out of 10. One day at #ComicConNYC I got to meet William Shatner, I was very excited and when I told my mom she was so jealous. I was going to tell him how much I loved his work and list his other projects besides Star Trek. Then when I got face to face I froze. He asked me my name and I couldn't speak. My girlfriend had to introduce me, she said I was nervous and he said clearly. They spoke for a bit and I just stood there like a freaking idiot. Swipe Left 👉🏻 #SkateOrDie (5 out of 10) #SkiOrDie (4 out of 10) #SkateOrDie2 (4 out of 10) Stake or Die! and the winterized sequel Ski or Die! where both developed by #Konami and published by their subsidiary #UltraGames Skate or Die 2: The Search for Double Trouble is the true sequel to the orginal game but is now an action game instead of a sports game. The game was both developed and published by #ElectronicArts I played Skate or Die! all the time with my sister, she was a lot better than I was in the game. She nailed a lot of the tricks on the halfpipe and was really good at the downhill racing challenge. The game was broken into 5 skateboarding events; freestyle, high jump, 2 downhill races and the infamous pool joust. This is what me and my sister mostly played and real fights actually happened. Ski or Die! is basically a copy and paste version of Skate or Die! You have 5 ski events; halfpipe, acro aerials, downhill blitz, inner tube trash and snowball blast. Snowball blast was really fun as you pelted kids and random animals with snowballs in FPS style. Inner tube trash once again caused actual fights. Skate or Die 2 was totally refreshing but the story was very strange. You accidentally killed the mayors wife poodle with your skateboard because you were being distracted by a local thug named Icepick. Because of this the mayor has outlawed skateboarding. Somehow in your adolescent mind you think the only way to stop the mayors outlaw ban on skateboarding is to lure his wife into a warehouse and then proceed to shoot the shit out of her with a paintball gun. Overall the games aren't that bad and you can actually pull off some pretty cool moves.
