thinking abt the less bleak ultimate mayhem verse where ultron, mikitta and mayhem all survive the snap, it goes about like
- some time after the snap, mikitta and mayhem suggest to the rest of the avengers that they might leave the earth if rocket and nebula would have them (which obv includes potato ultron), to lighten to workload of the avengers off earth
- rocket and neb be like 👍 so the next time they're in the neighbourhood they pick up the trio
- it doesn't take too long for rocket to attach some arms on potato ultron so he can help around, really it just takes ultron saying that he could help if he had arms, and rocket kind of double checking with maykitta since presumably the potato has been kept a potato for a reason (judging by the Killer Snowbot, they definitely have random robot arms floating around 😅)
- concept: they come across an almost whole broken love bot and make that into a body for ultron 🤔 (getting him his ideal body isn't the priority hence the kind of haphazard body situation)

i continue to have cursed ideas.
one of the avengers gets Genuinely Badly Shot, like time is of essence ways, so Mayhem is like I CAN FIX IT. PROBABLY. and once getting consent to root around in someone else's body (bc Mikitta cares abt things like that lol) it does safely repair the damage etc but bc the body is not compatible it kicks back, which leaves Mayhem depleted and huuuuuuungry (hello i gotta inflict some prenalty for magic healing other ppl) and since Mikitta didn't expect to give Mayhem a workout at all they didn't pack snacks so...
Banner: "Nat is stable but Mayhem just run off."
Avengers: "??????"
*Mayhem fully just gobbling up some squirrels and mice n stuff*
Ultron: "Apparently, fixing Black Widow depleted Mayhem's phenethylamine reserves. We're using woodland creatures to top up."
ultron getting "burnt out of the internet" intrigues me. like, okay, let's start from the ground up
according to stark, he can't "download a data schematic this dense".
yet ultron uploads himself into the internet. well getting storage space even for free is nbd esp in 2015 (if you're ok with it being fragmented across a multitude of accounts) and if you can move around money the way he is shown to with ulysses, even more of a nbd. he could prolly just buy a server farm or smth lol
but really, what does "getting burnt out of the internet" mean. you can't only delete him there, you have to make him unable to put himself back
so remove his network drivers
the thing is
a computer could have all kinds of data on coding network drivers from the ground-up
but unable to connect without someone to do the building
ultron is not a computer
you have to wipe all of that data
from a self-aware mind
and now he can't talk with wi-fi anymore. couldn't go wired either
it's gibberish? nonsense noise?
to re-learn it is like learning a new language
or more aptly
re-learning one after brain damage
and isn't that something?
i might have thought up a 2nd ultimate mayhem kiddo but the whole concept is kinda silly i feel
