What had led to this again? How did Ryota allow it? The invasion of his space was the first barrier, something that should have been kept secret in the first place because of him existing. He had to stay hidden, and finding him when he's most vulnerable was something only luck could conquer.

It was just the right timing, watching his ankle slip by as he snuck away from the closest possible vending machine, scurrying like a rat back to his unmarked dorm.

Someone got curious, when he'd dropped his tablet pen, and rushed to give it back only to wonder what the other was doing out at such a late hour. Komaeda, his tricks and no one's business but his own, and just so happened to see something interesting.

With the cat out of the bag, Ryota had no choice but to led him inside lest more questions rise and he goes to the headmaster. It could be blackmail if the lucky student found out he wasn't supposed to exist. So inside they went, where Ryota awkwardly explained his talent and his concerning amount of anime paraphernalia.

It was in the middle of one of these rants as he sat down, with Nagito's eyes never leaving him, that suddenly his vision is obscured. Could it have been the allure of the computer light? Or the way he spoke so passionately about something most belittle? There was no disrespect or interruption, no denial of his craft as a true medium. Even as he gestured in the most animated & cartoonish of fashions, expression bright as he showed off his latest shorts. Maybe that's why he allowed it in the end, and settled back against his chair with a sigh of relief.

Ryota knows not. Only the softness of someone's lips against his own, done with care and purpose even at the abruptness of it. Somehow, that small gesture made him feel more understood.

ㅤㅤhe's laughing , honestly unsure of how the whole situation started . one minute they were on the couch watching a horrible horror movie that made absolutely no sense at all . the next they were playfully fighting which had somehow ended up with ajax on his back on the floor .

ㅤㅤhe's still trying , albeit not as much to try and win their playful little bout . that is until they feel pain , not uncomfortable pain but still enough to get him to yelp in surprise . they squirm , laughter only growing louder at the realization .
