Happy Storyteller Saturday! What kind of writing goals do you set for yourself? How do you reward yourself when you meet your goals?

here's the kicker: i... don't! i've barely written anything that isn't outright explaining what's going on in a story, or casually roleplaying/brainstorming with someone else. the amount of creative writing i've done is very small, only a handfull of attempts at oneshots that never got anywhere :')
i don't really know how to "write". in my head it's such a difficult thing, i see it as this thing really skilled people who have done tons of research and have a clear mind do, three things that i lack. it's a bit of a roadblock for me atm, but i'm slowly building up confidence to knock it down and get started at some point, because i do believe my stories are worth telling, and i'm dying to tell them. i just-- kinda get lost in the many many steps of the process "=w=
so i guess my goal is... to get started! i have a sideblog in the makings where i'll focus all my creative writing stuff on, but it's really intimidating hahah, lots of sorting and tagging and writing introductory posts about stories and characters... lots to do! i'll get to it eventually! don't know when! but eventually! hopefully!
