the cultural thing of "oh you're asking about a sexual topic? you must be a child if this information hasn't magically appeared into your head without you being taught. because you're a child i'll make fun of you instead of answering the question" is ageist and a huge part of rape culture. i hate it. it endangers children. this sort of exclusion from information access makes children not realise when they're being abused
