Seto froze with his leg in half of his pants, his knuckles white over the waistband of the black slacks. He’d just thought of this man automatically as a possible friend.

I don’t have…any real friends! Seto reeled as he shrugged on the black turtleneck while the curling of shame in his chest told him that yes, he didn’t consider anyone to be his ‘friend’ other than Atem…who was his Mate, so it didn’t really count.

Joey and Tristan were his comrades.

Same with Mai and Anzu.

Atem was their friend.

And they serve me out of obligation…mainly because they love Adina, Seto thought nervously as he slipped the diamond watch back into the casing and bending down to change his shoes, trying to get over the realization that he had no one to call a real friend who didn’t serve or fuck him.

He tucked the formal shoes back into the shelf and pulled out a more comfortable set of black loafers and stepped into them, feeling himself relax the moment he took the suit off.

Okay, the trauma-combo was: a stiff suit, impromptu meeting, and a stranger.

Seto sat atop the rock where a slight indent had been made over the years, listening to the waves crash up against the sides, giving him a sense of overwhelming calm while he reflected.

Mokuba was right.

His life was pretty great.

This was what it felt like to want for nothing.

He thought Pegasus would give him more hell, but apparently not.

Atem listened to the thoughts drifting down from above while he stayed quietly submerged, waiting for the right time to pop up. For nostalgia’s sake, he hoped Seto would be ranting about missing him for moons, but Seto was quietly thinking about work.

Think about seeing me! Atem cried silently as he hung onto the edge of the rock, staring into the dark cavern carved into it with the metal hooks still in place. Nothing about this rock had changed in all their decades together.

I’ll fucking do it! Seto thought deliriously as he let out a hiss and stood up so suddenly, Yami’s voice caught in his chest and he was thrown down on the bed, cheek-first, so much that his neck strained, and he was filled in one solid motion, his body shuddering at the rough stimulation, and his vision brightened when Seto hovered above him, his blue eyes narrowed prettily while they connected over and over again at a grueling pace, with hands dragging down each other’s bodies followed by stinging bites landing on whoever could manage to get ahold of flesh first, and Yami, his legs weak from the earlier workout, gave up after struggling for a bit and let Seto clamp his teeth down on his shoulder and thrust viciously into him, making his hole clench and pulse with joy when something hot and wet rushed up inside him, and he threw his head back to laugh, feeling Seto’s teeth travel down to his nipple to give it a lewd swirl with his tongue before a cold bite landed there too.

Pulling out slowly, Seto fell into the bed beside Yami, his chest heaving as he slowly caught his breath, and Yami had draped himself over his leg, getting semen all down his thigh, clearly not caring.

Lifting his hand tiredly, Seto ran a cleaning spell down their lower bodies first before bringing the bubble of water up to his chest, jumping in fright and accidentally dropping the bubble of dirty semen water all over their chests when the door opened suddenly with a magical bang! and Mai was standing in the doorway, gaping at them.

Soaking wet and furious, Yami lifted his head to shout at Mai, while Mai shouted back at the same time, giving Seto a throbbing headache.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING—”

“MAI, GET OUT!”

Seto’s teeth ached at their combined volume, and he hastily managed to clean them again while Yami and Mai held a shouting match, with Yami still in the nude and Mai red-faced, but determined to hold her ground.
