Hi! My name is Lauren Staff and I’m a fourth year student at the University of Florida. In May I will be graduating with a degree in Telecommunication and a specialization in broadcast news. I have been fortunate to have had many internships and jobs over the course of my career in Gainesville. One job that I am most proud of is being a Student Communications Assistant at the UF Athletic Association. One of my favorite things to do as an assistant is to write features on the student athletes and get to know them beyond just the sports they play. I assist with many different sports, including gymnastics, women’s and men’s basketball, football, baseball, softball and men’s and women’s golf. After graduating, I hope to pursue a career in the sports industry doing social media and media relations!
