As much as it pains me to say this, I think that it's come to the point where UCLA will be closing down. Most of the characters have run their course here and the plots have come to an end, so I think it's a good time for them to move on. It's been an amazing time with you guys and I appreciate all of the effort and time you've all put in here with us. The fall semester will begin Wednesday, August 21st. Any students taking classes will start then.
Hey guys, just a few things before I head out for the day:
I won't be on until later tonight, so any admin things will be dealt with then. So, if you need anything just sit tight, I will be around this evening once I've moved back to university.
There have been a lot of [action] type posts on the dash recently and I'd really like to cut down on that. Generally speaking, gif chats are over an online type setting between the characters. Of course, if they're roommates and it makes sense that they're together, face-to-face gif chats are perfectly okay, as we understand it's a natural part of roleplaying. Even then, though, try and have the action descriptions in the tags, it just looks cleaner on the dash. If something is extremely action intensive, it might make more sense to just switch it to a short gif para instead.
The event for Harry Tobin's birthday party will begin today, so be sure to tag starters are uclaevent if it's a part of that. This is a case where the gif chats will all be face to face, as with most other events.
And last, but not least, just a reminder that Karson Morgan, Kyle Deyer, Miles Xavier, Ryson McCallum, and Leighton Kirke are on temporary hiatuses at the moment.
