Interview
I did surprisingly well! 😁 now that I've got my externship locked in, I just need to do well and show them how great an employee I'd be!
BLS Transfer
from one small ED to a Level 1 trauma ED for a laceration that’s already been sutured and dressed. And they activate a trauma alert. 1 attending, 3 residents, 1 intern, 2 med students, 3 nurses, 1 ED tech, 1 EMT student and 2 undergraduate interns for a lac that’s stitched closed. Possible arterial bleeding led to the hemostatic suture with glass still inside.
Sorry ED attending, they did not do a CT angio. I checked cap refill though!
Externship
Miss Fong talked to me after school today to tell me that she's very impressed with me and that she wants me to extern at UC Davis Medical Center. She told me that I'm strong in all areas in pharmacy and that she feels that this is a really good fit for me. Hearing this made me so happy! This is what I wanted. I know I still have to interview and placing a job is not guaranteed, but it's possible that I'll get a job there! Also, knowing that I was selected means that I'm the top student. It really makes me feel like I can do it. I'm finally making up for my failures in the past. ☺️ I'm so excited for what's to come!
