Like don’t ask ur driver to go through the drive through or stop at a store for 10 mins unless you’re planning to tip—we get like $0.12 per minute of waiting and that is not worth it at all sorry and you’re risking the driver losing their next ride if they have a ride queued

Also tip if your ride is super short. I’ve had to drive over 5 miles and over 15 minutes for rides that have lasted less than 4 minutes and me getting $3 (minimum fare) is literally making me lose money if there isn’t a tip

So many people act like they’re so good to people in customer service and they might be but then they treat an Uber driver like the driver owes THEM something more than getting them to their destination safely.

After driving for 45 minutes today, I discovered that I had earned only $4.16.  And this after having the air conditioning give out once, having the engine overheat twice, and having to change which direction I searched for building number 210 three times before I found the guy’s second-floor apartment and delivered his 40 chicken nuggets and two large orders of McDonald’s fries.  Normally when…

Hello all! I am a college student and have been driving for UberEats for almost a year and would like to share something with you. Having a scheduled job and taking more than a full course load of classes at the same time can be difficult. But if you don’t have a way to make money then you don’t get to participate in fun things as often as you would like (I am a walking case in point). SO! I started driving for UberEats because I can schedule my own hours, spend time listening to music I like, and not have to have strangers I don’t know in my car. Plus I get to bring people food! So they’re always happy to see me (and therefore tip pretty well usually).

Yes, I am an Uber driver.   I have combined passenger fares and meal deliveries 118 times in the 4 months I have been doing this.   I have made a few hundred dollars in that time that have at least temporarily allowed me to continue to buy food for my family as I try to pay off my bankruptcy debts.

This guy... This drunk grown man fucking GLARED AT ME like "are you serious?? Go back! Go back!!" And his friend, another man, Are screaming "go back! Come on!" So I tried and my Pandora wouldn't let me jump back to the previous song so I apologised

"I'm sorry, I thought you were playing a game like... Shouting next for every song. I'm sorry. There goes my 5 stars," I joked sadly.

We get to his street and a Bruno Mars song comes on and he got so excited and he said "you're about to make it up to me!" And i was like "oh cool," and checked with his friend in the back which was the right house. The song is barely a minute in and the front passenger, the one paying for the ride, didn't get out. I stopped the trip when the doors opened and the back guy got out... So I pulled up a little further to get to the actual driveway but I had to sit there for another minute while this guy jammed out. He finally he got out before the song was done, yelled one last lyric at me, and slammed the door to jog up to his house.

Whatever, already gave him a 5 star by default and he was happy at the end of the trip (I thought). Check uber app today

I had let his rudeness slide but not after my suspicious rating drop so I reported his behavior. I don't know if it was him that left the crap rating but he was my only difficult passenger of the night.

Please be kind to your uber drivers and guys, even if you think you're being suave and serenading your driver, DO NOT TOUCH THEM. DON'T TOUCH THEM REPEATEDLY WHILE THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOU SAFELY HOME.
