Check out this sampling of Arch Projects from first year theatre design majors! They stretch their imaginations, creativity, and resourcefulness for this first semester assignment by designing and creating a model that tells an interesting story, using at least one figure (providing a focus and a scale) and the environment and airspace of the model.
The environment is basically a miniature set design, and can include important clues and information in the textures and props used alongside characters. The models provide clues about the past, contain exciting "frozen moments" of activity in the present, and inspire a model-viewer to imagine what will happen next in the story.
So ... what do YOU think happens next in the models below?!
