“The goal is elevation...” (U2, “Elevation”)  My goal was the High Line as I ascended from the depths of the Hudson Yards subway station to the distant light of day:)  Another song by U2 powerfully describes the feeling of compassion towards a “lost soul” on the spiritual journey of life: “If I could through myself/Set your spirit free/I’d lead your heart away/See you break, break away/Into the light/And to the day...” (”Bad”)  (Photo taken on December 15, 2018)
