You were one of the first people to discover my account when I first started and was unsure about sharing my art, and I want to thank you immensely for that! Drawing with you in magmas and seeing how kindly you treat the community was a big part of what showed me how fun and supportive this space can be. So take my scribbly attack! 3. How did your OC feel the first time they left home? Why did they leave?

Cecio felt like utter shit. He probably could have commuted to Uni but as much as he loves Muro he was realizing how much of Muros life had been consumed by looking after him and he needed to get away from the suffocating feeling of guilt. leaving doesnt make him feel much better, hes deeply isolated the whole time, largely by choice.

5. What did your OC think their life would be like when they grew up? Has it lived up to that expectation?

Elena thought she would end up an art teacher scraping by, shes definitely surpassed that but she will always be nostalgic for a world where she never left. never enough to say wishing for long though, she wanted out and she wanted the world to know her name, and well her stands named after a line about a plant breaking through concrete in Evergreen by Bears in Trees and its very fitting to her approach to life.

21. If your OC could speak to their childhood self, what would they say?

Elena would tell her younger self to stay in contact with Muro, and that she should be selfish and go for what she wants. Be a little kinder to Tesoro and off Conficcare when he first starts acting weird.

Russos would give a warning to trust her friends and try and find them earlier when disaster strikes.

Rametta would tell her younger self to transition earlier and protect Muro while Tesoro would only drop hints at being trans but tell her younger self to grab her friends and get the hell out of there.

Paula<33 Her passion for fashion was apparent from a young age and she worked hard on her sewing, designing and patterning skills, eventually taking the leap to go to Italy to try and learn more there and get set up as a designer to ideally come back to Egypt eventually. She didn't expect the extent of the barriers she would face and wasn't given an iota of the respect she deserved, taking jobs in mass production factories instead. She struggled a lot when Muros father died but decided to bring him to Italy to raise while she worked. She was a loving and supportive mother but harsh work conditions and discrimination cause her to get more serious and stressed and eventually caused her health to decline to the point it was one of the reasons Muro left school at 16 to work full time at Marcos. She hated being a burden and worries often about how her choices impacted Muro, especially given everything Passione did. The almost two decades of her being in Passiones control with minimal contact with her kids was awful but secretly she's somewhat glad as it meant Muro wasn't forced to be even more her carer and the breadwinner when he was still so young. Afterwards they still deeply care for each other and have a very fond relationship with them regularly visiting eachother and Muro helping put at her shop, without the awkwardness that can happen between her and Cecio as they are a bit too similar.
