-I imagine that he maybe knew and liked the old medic better. Anya was replacing a retiree who was a lot more competent at their job and Swansea had his doubts. Then on her first trip as the medic, Swansea cut his hand open and had to walk Anya through giving him stitches, making him forever doubt her capabilities as a nurse.

She almost passed out from the blood, and having to SEW an OPEN WOUND was not something she had done before because in PE training they just have you practice on the little rubber mats which is way different. and Swansea snapped at her, and it's a lot of pressure so she started crying and couldn't see with the tears in her eyes, so Swansea had to try and calm her down even if he wanted to throw her out the air lock.

Anyway, he got her a cup of water, made her sit down on the floor, cleaned his own hand, and then did his best to talk her through closing the wound, all while simmering with barely controlled rage.

Since then she's been kind of afraid of him, and he thinks she's a for real idiot. (But he still looks up to watch her leave a room, yk)

- Anya wants to fuck him so bad. She doesn't really like him, and she has a big problem with his open misogyny. But also shes definitely touching herself thinking about his fat hog

-Swansea and Anya's quarters are next to each other and he's a light sleeper so he has to listen to her get railed all night.

Plus the utility room and med bay are connected by a big open vent, so I like to imagine he also has to listen to her getting railed all day when she's "doing Jimmy's evaluation" or having "team synergy meetings" with Curly.

-He caught her in a towel after a shower and was so horny about it he had to be horribly mean to her for weeks until he stopped feeling embarrassed when he looked at her.
