Tyse presents: Cold (Remix EP)
Tyse is an artist with a distinctive approach, always pushing creative boundaries and embracing new sounds. His latest release, Cold, is more than just a single—it’s an entire Remix EP set to drop on March 28. Building on the themes of his previous EP, The Misconception—which blended multiple genres and surpassed 100,000 streams—this project takes his artistry even further through global collaborations and fresh sonic textures.
The Cold Remix EP brings together producers from around the world, including Jave (Venezuela), Nova (Indonesia), and John May (Spain). Each remix offers a unique interpretation of Cold, demonstrating how music can transcend genres. The EP features a high-energy EDM mix, an 80s-inspired remix that infuses retro synth textures with modern flair, and an Afro House version that amplifies the groove with deep rhythms and an organic flow. Each remix bends the familiar into something deeper, something unspoken, giving way to so many possibilities and different textures.
While the original release of Cold was rooted in R&B/pop the remix is rooted in EDM, house, afro, and dance influences, Tyse’s diverse musical background shines through in every track. Each remix highlights a distinct element—whether it’s heavy basslines, soulful vocal treatments, or nostalgic 80s vibes—offering a dynamic listening experience that reimagines the song from multiple angles.
With this release, Tyse continues to expand his creative reach, proving that music has no borders—only endless possibilities.
