made 5-color palettes for all my guys :>
Welp, I wanted to finish this art for Halloween, but as always it didn't work out but I'm glad that I was able to finish it!
New series! Until we get more Smash DLC fighters, we’re done with Smash. Pokemon Sword and Shield are coming out later this year, but that’s a ways off. In the meantime I’m going to do the monster book from Puzzle and Dragons, which is a free mobile game. I’m not a serious PAD player, but I try to log in every day because they love throwing free stuff at you. I’ve never put money into this game, although apparently there’s a competitive scene where people do spend a lot? I don’t pay that much attention to that.
What’s important to me is that this is a match-3 puzzle game with RPG elements and collectible monsters. Most of the early monsters are very cute and simple, but as the game progresses the designs get more and more detailed. After a point they start throwing in a bunch of humanoid designs, almost to the point that it becomes a waifu collection game. And then all of your waifus ascend and reincarnate and get a million new glow effects and dragon wings. And then the game hosts a crossover with a different company and now you can have Batman and Cloud Strife on the same team as your dragons and waifus. There’s been a constant escalation of power and style for the entire time I’ve been playing and it’s nuts.
The Puzzle and Dragons monster book goes up into the thousands. My current plan is to do the first hundred or so, then see about other possible Popkas candidates. If nothing looks good, I’ll do another hundred. When the 8th gen Pokedex comes out I’ll switch to that. After that, I’m not sure. We’ll just have to wait and see!
The game starts you out with your choice of a fire, water, or grass type starter, just like Pokemon. Tyrra is our Charmander equivalent. It’s an enthusiastic little baby with lots of personality. I don’t actually know which starter is the most popular, but my guess would be this one.
Double page spread. Sometimes I like just doodling out my characters and letting their expressions come naturally. Ignore the marker blob on the first page.

pour vous @tarysande of Rose and Tyrra
I always thought Rose of this shortie and Tyrra as a beanstalk and a pushover when it comes to Rose and eccentricities
